In this 2024’s year, we have organized the tenth edition of the Cachan robotics festival, which happened in one week, from Monday 3 June to Sunday 9 June.  A particularly successful edition, we are happy to present to you the result.

Actually, we received, from Monday to Friday, some school groups, which came and visited the exposition space.  Eventually 28 teams and 430 students have joined in the festival : elementary, middle school, one man’s meat is another man’s poison ! we have particularly hosted a group of disabled people, first for them, like for us.  

Two competitions took place during the week, France’s IUT GEII robotics cup where 147 competitors faced each other, as well as the Eurobot junior final, which gathered 79 competitors from several nations (Belgium, Spain, France, Turkey, Serbia). Congratulation to  Cachan, Salon de Provence, and Tour for his first place in BUT 1,2,3, at the team StormBreaker for his first place at eurobot Junior and to all the participants for your motivation and determination.  

More than 1500 people visited the fun, interactive exhibition space on the weekend of June 8 and 9, 2024. On Sunday 9 June, we got the chance of hosting a show by world champion of yoyo Daniel TAMARIZ, who came and gave a sneak preview of his forthcoming show entitled « Le Friki ». The show drew an audience of over 200. 

During that edition, we were pleased to welcome Marie-Julie BOURGEOIS and Roland LEHOUCQ who gave us two pertinent talks on  science and the issues it raises. 

A beautiful event which we are very proud to carry out every year over 10 years, thanks to our many partners and exhibitors whom we salute. Special thanks to IUT of Cachan for its help and support during all the week.
